TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking assistance in scheduling an appointment at the British Embassy in Bangkok to obtain a letter confirming their monthly income, which is required for their yearly visa application. Comments provide various insights, suggesting that the embassy primarily handles these requests via postal applications and offering a link to detailed information on the process. Some users mention their experiences with the embassy's procedures, including the need for proof of income and the option to call for confirmation.

If you are asking about getting a letter of confirmation regarding your pension or monthly/yearly income, then they only do this by mail now. (or they did last year) Download the form and the payment form (if you are paying by credit card). fill them in and attach your proof of income. send by EMS and check the box for return by EMS. it usually takes a few days only.

Im not British, so I only posted their website as help. It says on their website Postal application only. Give them a call to be sure. I'm Dutch and we still have both options, in person or postal. They talked months to change it in only in person and that gave a lot of comments for people living outside Bangkok.

Just copy paste from their website: Services we provide in Thailand
Consular staff in Thailand can:
administer an oath, affirmation or affidavit
witness a signature
make a certified copy of a document
unite documents
letter confirming pension/income for retirement visa in Thailand (Postal application only)
Maybe paying a visa service might work better for you

Im a tight arse was quoted from 20 to 30,000 baht for the privledge of putting my paper work in order to present to the UK VISA people . On their website they tell you steer clear of visa reps they have no influence in obtaining a visa and fair enough no visa no pay . This way if i get a visa ive saved if not can pay next time .
