Where can I obtain a residence certificate in Bangkok, and what are the updated requirements?

I need to get a residence certificate from immigration in Bangkok. Is it true that I can only get one from the Muang Thong Thani immigration office in Nonthaburi? Is this list of requirements below up to date/accurate? Do I need to print any documents for my landlord to sign? I have already done a few 90-day reports here and the building I'm requesting the certificate for is the same. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks information on obtaining a residence certificate from immigration in Bangkok, specifically if Muang Thong Thani is still the designated office after its closure. The conversation provides insights on the certificate's updated location at Chaeng Wattana, as well as requirements like the need for a 90-day report or the option to acquire one through the embassy. Additionally, there are inquiries about expedited services and the necessity of printed documents for landlord signatures.

I needed one for my car license renewal and had to go to a government building near impact arena. Then they sent it in the post to me about a week later. This was about a month ago...

That document was requested in Muang Thong Thani on SECOND floor. BUT this service has been returned to the main Immigration office at Chaeng Wattana.

Great advice, great choice. But definitely, the office at Muang Thong Thani has been closed down and the service moved on 18.4.2022 toChaeng Wattana. The service on the 3. floor moved to an office nearby on Chaeng Wattana, but that was for extending visa or such. You can still look that up on the Immi website, though the locations have not been updated on the website. I was out at Muang Thong Thani recently and there were notes all over the place to inform everybody.

Are you 100% sure? People are telling me to go to 4 different places.

You can get this from cham churi square building if you have recent 90 day report.and you have non b visa.

If you don’t have 90 day report then your embassy is the only option to get the certificate.

It’s easy and within an hour they will issue.

I thought cham churi was not for falang services. Only Asian workers from nearby countries?

No you can apply and get it

If it's for bank your embassy can typically do it.

It's for registering a motorbike. Are you sure? I heard this is something you get from immigration.

immigration or your embassy, ots the same forum. US embassy charges $50 though.

Strange they don't ask for house book or lease agreement. They are sure to want either.

Is this it? So there is an immigration office here and this is where I can get the residence certificate?
Stuart *********
@Jake ******
Counter K is on the 3rd floor. Sorry I don’t know if it’s the right one for a residence certificate, perhaps others can confirm.

I believe TM30 services moved back to Chaeng Wattana .

@MarGuyvin **
you could be right. I’m not familiar with the Bangkok counters. I believe the OP was asking about a residency certificate (maybe for buying a car or motorcycle for instance). That’s different from filing a TM30.

Also, is there an expedited service where I can get it the next day or in a few days? If so, where do I go or who do I talk to for that?
Brandon ************
@Jake ******
some of the provinces charge a "fee" to provide same day service but I don't believe Bangkok has this option.

I heard it does but that may be outdated information.

doesn't hurt to ask. Just don't ask for a receipt 😂
