TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks guidance on obtaining a residence letter from the immigration office and whether online appointment booking is required. Comments clarify that an appointment is not necessary for the residence certificate, which can be obtained after filing a 90-day report. It's also noted that the TM30 process, which should typically be handled by the property owner or agent, is crucial for visa extensions and requires correct documentation to avoid penalties.

That's the owner or agent's work to do, not yours.

still TM30 is the responsibility of the agent or the owner of the place not yours. If they didn't do it within 24h when you moved in they get fined not you. I suggest to move to another place if they're to lazy to follow the immigration law. Don't rent to foreigners if you cant follow it you should to tell em.

Anyhow you can turn it in as well though your contract needs to be from the day or the day after otherwise the landlord will be fined 5000baht.

You don't need an appointment for resident certificate, it's fast. After you have your 90 day report (photo copy) go to the document check for resident certificate station next to the where you get a queue. They check your documents and then give you a queue number.

The longest I have had to wait for my number to he called was probably 10 minutes, but it's usually less. Can usually be in and out for a resident certificate in under 30 minutes, which is usually mostly the walking to and from the parking.

They mail you resident certificate, it generally is around 2 weeks.

I believe that you contact the tm.30 section for residence letter.

I don't think you can make an appointment for this.

You also cannot get a residence certificate until after you've filed a 90 day report, so if you haven't filed one of these it cannot get a residence certificate.
