TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on what kind of visa to apply for their 9-month-old baby while they apply for a 6-month student visa to study Thai language. A commenter suggests applying for a 90-day Non-O visa at the Thai consulate based on the child's relation to the applicant. This visa would allow both to receive a matching extension when the student visa is extended. The commenter also notes that children under 15 cannot be fined for overstays, making it a less pressing concern.

I would say when you're going to the thai consulate to get your ED visa see if you can apply for a 90 day single entry Non-O visa based on them being related to you who is on an ED visa. Then when you both come in you'll get stamped in for 90 days each and when you go get your extension on the ED visa they will get a matching extension because they are your child
OR you could do nothing :O because children under 15 cannot be fined for overstay and children under 18 cannot be banned for overstay.
I would say go for the 90 day Non-O visa when you get your ED visa though.

It can't hurt to have your school write a letter asking that your child be issued a 90 day Non-O visa because their mother is attending school.

Can you tell me please do I need to ask my language school for some docs to get Non-O visa for my baby? I know that children under 15 will not be charged the overstay but I don't know what to tell to emigration officer when I will enter the country. Why I have visa and my baby doesn't.
