ok then he can enter visa exempt and basically not bother with a visa for years. On leaving Thailand he would get an overstay stamp but there are no repercussions for a child under 14.

what about if the cops check his documents while the kid is overstaying?

Technically breaking the law, but kids under 14 can’t be fined for overstay so there would be no issue. Kids under 18 can’t be banned or deported from Thailand.

scary 😅 isn’t there another way? We don’t mind paying for his visa.

if you’re on a long term education visa like at a formal education provider like a university he could get a visa based on yours. If you have an informal education visa like a language school or Muay Thai then probably not.

🫠 It is a language school educational visa. I appreciate your fast response, thank you. Final question, can I sign him to a thai kindergarten and give him a Visa, or my options are limited?

once he’s of school age then you can exit Thailand to clear the overstay and then re enter on exempt to switch over to an education visa.

not really many if any options. He can't get an education visa since he's too young to attend school. Unless you want to pay 900,000 baht to get him an elite visa, overstay is going to be the only option unless you want to do a bunch of border bounces with a baby.
