What should I do if the Samui immigration office requires a TM.30 for my wife's Non-IMM visa extension?

Hi guys, need your advice, please. Today, my wife was at the Samui immigration office to extend the Non-IMM Visa (follows my pension visa). She had all the documents, including the contract for the house, the yellow book and a copy of the land lord's ID. The officer demanded that point 12 be executed. The appeal to the site did not produce results. What may be other options for obtaining? On Monday, my wife's last day. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking help as their wife needs to extend her Non-IMM visa but was told by the immigration office in Samui that she must file a TM.30 form in person. There have been complications with online filing, with confusion over requirements and deadlines. Community members provided advice on gathering the necessary documents, understanding filing processes, and potential issues with online registration.

If you do it online, you will probably have trouble printing it out as the encoding is old. There is a copy shop downstairs that can print it for you.

Also the office for filing in person is downstairs.

Thanks Tod.

There is another website that you can use for notification if your in Suratthani.

The big advantage is you can use it instantly without needing the email confirming your username.

A poster was gracious enough to message me that they have additional information about how to do a TM.30 in Samui

I am re-opening this thread
@Gwydion ******

I think we're just going around in circles so we're done. :/

Good Luck to the O/P and their spouse getting the TM.30 filed and getting her extension of stay. (y)

The ONLY course of action you have is

1 - Get the required documentation

2 - GO back to the immigration office

3 - file a TM.30 in person,

4 - pay the fine if they assess one

5 - then apply for the extension of stay.
Tod *********
I think you know what you need to do, and that's to get the documentation together and go file a TM.30 form and pay the fine if they charge you (which should be 1600baht)

@Evgeny *******
nope, there is NO requirement that you do it online.

You get the TM.30 form off this website

It's 11 forms up from the bottom

@Evgeny *******
you're having a lost in translation because there is NO requirement that you file the TM.30 online :/

They have a FORM that you fill out and take in

these are what you need to do a TM.30 it in person in Phuket

@Tod ********
Because the officer said several times that we have to do it online.
Tod *********
@Evgeny *******
and why won't you just go file the TM.30 in person?

my wife with Google translator and the owners of the house in their native language.

@Evg***
then I would say there is something wrong with what you are filling out, because most thais I know that signed up (even foreigners too) get the temp password by email and can use the system right away.

we have already made at least five attempts to get these temporary passwords
Tod *********
@Evgeny *******
You are NOT going to be able to fill out the documentation, make a user name, have the immigration office add you to the program and send you a temporary password so you can go in and change the password and begin using the online TM.30 program in time.

@Evgeny *******
The website is NOT down. It's up

Thanks. My question was whether there is a third possibility. An officer on samui said that online registration is required. The website is down. The support service of the website said that the document should be carried to an officer who does not accept documents and sends them to the online.

If your wife's stamp expires monday you're going to have to get after it so you can get the T,.30 filed

Why did you wait so long to apply for your wifes extension? You could have applied any time she had 30 days or less left on her current stamp. That way IF you needed some other documentation (like you do right now) you would have had time to get it :/
Tod *********
@Evgeny *******
you are confusing how long you get extending a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp with the time frame you can apply for an extension of stay. You can apply for extensions when you have 30 days or less left on your current 90 day Non-Immigrant visa stamp.

Notification of residence of foreigners for businesses. is it of for retirement visa too?

TM30 form, copy id landlord and blue house book both signed by landlord, copy id page passport from you and missus, some offices also want to see the lease agreement.
Tod *********
The fine is usually 1600baht for failure to file the TM.30. So get the documentation together, go file it, pay the fine if they fine you and then get the extension.
Tod *********
Common in many immigration areas. It's mandatory to file a TM.30 within 24 hours of you taking up residence where you live.

Your land lord should have filed them on you OR you should have went and done them
