I applied for a Thailand visit visa (single entry) in January. After more than 30 days of processing, my application was cancelled due to an incorrect selection of document type.
I reapplied immediately.
I have also visited the embassy and sent emails to the visa section, but unfortunately, I have not received any supportive guidance.
As my travel date is approaching, I am quite stressed about the processing time.
I would really appreciate it if you might have any suggestions or advice on what I could do in this situation πππ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a Thailand single entry visit visa, but it was cancelled after more than 30 days due to an incorrect document type selection. They have since reapplied and visited the embassy but received no assistance. Many commenters express that without knowing the user's nationality and visa details, it's difficult to provide specific advice. Suggestions include relying on the visa exemption rule for Belgian citizens, and potential extension options once in Thailand. Additionally, some users suggest hiring an agent due to the complexity of the situation.
Cancelled sounds like you entered some personal information incorrectly (rejected means your documents failed to meet the requirements). Strange that it took over 30 days to cancel though.
Well, we donβt know much so. If you need a visa or not but you can travel in without visa under exemption rule and that gives you 60 days free.
If you manage to get your paper correct then you can apply for a visa in neighboring countries like Laos, Cambodia aso. Depends on what is closer to your location.
Ultimately there is nothing ANYONE can do. If you actually require a visa, then the only people who can help you are the Thai embassy. They are the ones who process the application.
