Hi. I applied for basic 60 day tourist e visa on 1st Oct 2025. Its 15 days later and still waiting om pending (1)..I've applied many times before and always took about 4 working days . I know we get exemption but I went for 60 days in June and July this year as well as Nov Dec last year so the immigration moaned at me for coming too many times and to get a thai wife. I actually got married to thai girl during that stay. In June. I only need 60 day tourist visa. I cannot contact the embassy in anyway phoning or emails and trying the fb messengers now. Which fb messenger is best for a reply? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a 60-day tourist e-visa on October 1, 2025, but it has been pending for 15 days, which is longer than usual. They express frustration at the delay, especially since they have previously received their visas within four working days. The user also mentions past interactions with immigration officers who suggested they marry a Thai national, which they have done. They are currently unable to contact the embassy for assistance and are seeking advice, particularly regarding which Facebook messenger might yield a faster response.

Ok Ian. Fingers crossed. I'm told you can use visa exempt twice a year but as I go mid Nov to Jan 60 days then Jun and July 60 days it overlaps the years so immigration get the hump as looks like 3 times a year . I can't get 90 day o marriage visa as 10,000 pounds is alot to put into a thai bank act and not touch it. I'm not baby boomer generation with big pension and savings .

this is the reply I got today from the thai embassy. Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email.

Your documents are currently under review. Due to the high volume of applications, we kindly ask for your patience during this process. The estimated processing time is 10 business days after the latest submission of the requested documents. However, in some cases, the process may take longer.

We appreciate your understanding and will notify you once there is an update regarding your application.

Best regards,

The Visa Team

i have an application Awaiting document approval at the London embassy. I did write to them via email and they responded just saying we are very busy but will endeavour to have reviewed etc. Within the 10 working days. Also bear in mind they will deal with visas that are needed more urgently first, so if your trip isn't for another month or 2 then you're not a high priority

It must be high volume as everyone applying just before high season. I've been going to Thailand every year since 2007 and they make it harder and harder for average joes to come and spend cash in their country. They only want super rich coming for 2 weeks then bugger off.

@Julian *******
Maybe . It says up to10 days for processing , day 10 is tomorrow if you don't count the 1st and Monday 13th October was a holiday, I think the embassy was shut.
