Visa application cancelled. Applied in Jakarta. Email says wrong type of travel document chosen. Not sure what that means, I chose "Ordinary Passport". What a waste of money haha 🥲

It sounds to me like an error of judgment from the agent, but it's just a guess.

Make screenshots before you before you finally submit it. And triple check everything. Now its difficult to say because you might did just a careless mistake

triple checked everything, but unfortunately I didn't screenshot the form. I didn't know I won't be able to view the application once submitted lol

I've had this happen to me when I applied for a regular multiple entry tourist visa. Luckily the fee was just $35. I forgot how could I have made this mistake but if I recall , there's two fields for the type of document, and I selected the wrong value in one of them.

In the sense that embassy officers can clearly see which document type it is, really sucks they can't just ignore that one field.

if the application fee was only $35, you didn't apply for the multi entry tourist visa. You applied for the single entry tourist visa instead
