TLDR : Answer Summary
The user faced a cancellation of their Thai visa application due to mistakenly selecting the wrong type of travel document at the embassy in Jakarta, even though they chose 'Ordinary Passport.' The community members offered advice on being meticulous while filling out visa applications, sharing their own experiences with similar issues, including mistakes in document selection and the difficulties that arise from them. Recommendations included making screenshots of applications and considering using an agent for future applications to avoid errors.
Make screenshots before you before you finally submit it. And triple check everything. Now its difficult to say because you might did just a careless mistake
I've had this happen to me when I applied for a regular multiple entry tourist visa. Luckily the fee was just $35. I forgot how could I have made this mistake but if I recall , there's two fields for the type of document, and I selected the wrong value in one of them.
In the sense that embassy officers can clearly see which document type it is, really sucks they can't just ignore that one field.
