TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a 90-day tourist visa but received a 60-day visa that must be used by December 3rd, 2023. They express frustration over the embassy's lack of response. Comments suggest that the user applied too early, as single-entry tourist visas are only valid for use within 3 months of issuance and are typically for 60 days, with the possibility of a 30-day extension in Thailand. The consensus is that the user may need to reapply for a new visa, ideally in mid-November if they still plan to travel in December.

You applied too early your money is lost. Re apply MID NOVEMBER if still intending to arrive Dec 23

Useful lesson for others - the consulate will not do the calculations for you, they just process the request.

Now you will be coming before the 3rd December ?.

A tourist visa is only ever for 60 days. You have to apply for the other 30 in Thailand

that was an oversight on your part, and unless I'm wrong there's nothing that can be done.. As people pointed out, Single entry Tourist visas are valid for 3 months from the date they're issued <- meaning you have to enter on or by that date to get stamped in for 60 days ๐Ÿ™

Unfortunately I think you have to re-apply for another tourist visa

Single entry tourist visas are valid for use 3 months from when they are issued - you applied too early.

the SETV single entry tourist visa is for 60 days STAMP on arrival into Thailand and can be extended One time 30 Days at Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

Giving you Max of 90 day Stay in Thailand

The actual Visa is valid for its use for 3 MONTHS from the date it is issued. You MUST enter Thailand during that 3 months time.

As noted by

,you applied for a Thai tourist visa too soon. Once it's issued, you have 3 MONTHS to use it and enter Thailand.
