After waiting 9 days for my Thai Sandbox Pass for Phuket, I got word back that my application had been denied because my "hotel does not confirm your booking on Thailand Pass within 72 hours". When I contacted the hotel, they said this was because of a new procedure, and when they tried to do whatever it is they were supposed to do, my application had already been denied. When I contacted the hotel again the next day, they reported that after checking again I was indeed on the approved list and couldn't understand why I had been denied and not given the Pass. I have yet to get a response from the authorities at tp.consular.go.th and it looks like I am out of time anyway. My flight is set to go on 5 Feb so no time to restart things. Anybody else encounter anything like this?
