Hi All

Just arrived in Bangkok and the hotel don't look like they want to do my TM30. What can I do? I'm an aussie on 45 day visa exempt and will want to extend 30 days. I'm going to Phuket in a couple of days and will stay there for the rest of the time albeit in different hotels. Cheers.

At this moment Phuket do not request address registration for normal 30 extensions

Phuket immigration is the best. I’ve been to three immigration offices in Thailand, and believe me, Phuket has by far the nicest people.

You will only need the TM30 from the hotel you're staying at when you go to get your extension. On the basis you're not doing the extension whilst staying at your current hotel I wouldn't worry about it.

If you want to apply for a tourism extension in Phuket, you need to get TM30 receipt with the address in Phuket, from one of hotels there. Or you can go to IT Square Laksi Plaza office for tourism extension when you are in Bangkok. Bangkok doesn't ask for TM30 receipt for tourism extension usually. But you need to provide the address in Bangkok.

In other words, you don't have to worry about TM30 in Bangkok either way.

, Be careful saying like that, Bangkok definitely asks for TM30 receipt for extension application for other reasons than tourism.
