# TM30 when staying at a hotel (in Pattaya)

Hi, I'm trying to extend my visa in Pattaya. I'm currently booked at Holiday Inn for just 3 nights. They have "entered me into the system" with my passport and TM6 info and all, but they didn't know of any document they can print off as proof or documentation of the TM30 for me to bring in to immigration.

I went to immigration this morning anyway, but they said I needed more documentation from my hotel. They sent me away with the "Notification Form for House-Master, Owner or the Possessor of the Residence Where Alien Has Stayed." But now the hotel people say they can't really fill that form out, because it's like a form for long-term leases/rentals, not hotels. They printed me out a confirmation letter showing my booking, room number, etc. Will that be enough?

I hope to go back this afternoon. Any advice is appreciated!

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user staying at a hotel in Pattaya asks about the TM30 form required for extending their visa. The hotel was unable to provide a necessary document, causing confusion with immigration. Other users suggest asking the hotel for a screenshot of the TM30 submission as proof. Various experiences are shared, noting that while some were able to use printed screenshots or letters from their hotels to satisfy immigration, others emphasize the necessity for paper documents.

I brought in a printed screenshot from the system, as recommended by other commenters on this thread. When I went to immigration, they gave me a receipt based on that, which worked to extend my visa

great thank you. I plan on retiring there, my wife owns her own home in Bangkok, its a five year plan to move from the states, I'm going to need to know what I need to do to live there permanently.

Thanks again. I'm just trying to figure out everything.

under 30 days it's not ever a TM30, but is a different report that they report all foreigners that are staying at the hotel. This is what I used, and it has ALL residents listed, so they just crossed off the other tenants with a pen. Took my hotel all of 2 or 3 minutes to give me the form, and worked just fine.

Just make sure you get a hard paper copy because the Thai immigration is stuck in 1785.

In koh phangan they don't accept screen shot, it has to be paper, so print off your screen shot

There's no print function on the reporting website, they can take a screenshot however

Ask for a screenshot of your TM30 submission on the system, that should do it.
