Hey all - how much of a problem is it if my host will not fill out a TM30 for short stay condo?
I arrived I Thailand 2 days ago and had rented a condo on booking.com for my first 9 nights while I search for something long term.
I hadn’t met the host and only thought to text about my TM30 yesterday - asking to make sure they filled it out.
They asked what visa I was on and said that TM30 was only for over 30 days.
I replied and said even 1 night should have a TM30 and they replied they would “ask the owner”.
Haven’t heard back from them and doubting they will do it now - will this be a problem when I do my 90 day report?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form is legally required to be submitted by landlords within 24 hours of a guest's arrival, even for short stays. If your host does not complete this for your 9-night rental, it may cause issues when you do your 90-day report, including potential fines. However, some commenters suggest that the likelihood of facing repercussions is low, and you can manage your situation by obtaining a TM30 from a different lodging if necessary.
