TM 30 question:
(A complicated situation - I apologize for the long story...)
I am on a NON-O with a retirement extension and live permanently in Chiang Mai in a rented condo, that reported my TM 30 on arrival. Last week I drove down to Hua Hin and all the small hotels where I stopped on the way reported my TM 30 with no issues.
I arrived to Hua Hin on Thursday night and staying at an Airbnb apartment, belonging to a Thai owner. As he does not live in town, I asked him by a text message to report TM 30 for me and he said that he "has no idea about it". I shortly explained to him about his duty to report for foreigners and sent him the link to the on-line registration form, but he replied to me that he is now out of the country, didn't take his Thai ID card with him and therefor can't make it for me.
I will be driving back to my permanent condo in Chiang Mai within 2 weeks and stay 1-2 nights in the same hotels on my way back and then leave the country after a few days for 6 weeks.
What would you recommend me to do in this case?
