Will not having a TM30 filed for my previous stay in Thailand cause issues for my return?

TM30 Question.

So I recently returned from Thailand after saying a couple of months at a friends. I had no idea about the TM30 at the time and only been reading up on it now.

I know one wouldn't have been filed for me for my 2 month stay. And I will plan to return in a few months, can this cause any issues for me? Or just a genuine mistake.

Obviously I now know better this time around.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 is a requirement in Thailand where landlords must report the arrival of foreigners to local immigration authorities. If a TM30 wasn't filed for your previous two-month stay, it's generally viewed as a minor issue, especially if you don't extend your stay. However, it's important to ensure that one is filed upon your return to avoid any complications, particularly when doing a 90-day report or applying for extensions. The responsibility of filing the TM30 primarily falls on the landlord, not the foreign tenant.

Same here, I am just now becoming aware of the tm30 now that I have the DTV and looking to get my license here. Oops

I think the only time you would need it is to do a 90 day report and maybe an extension.

If u don’t extend ur stay, you should be fine. But it is illegal. The room owner is more at risk than you actually.

No problem at all

No problem, just make sure one is filed upon your return
