TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around concerns from individuals who have applied for the Thailand Pass and have not received their approvals within the expected timeframe of 3 to 7 days. Users share their experiences, revealing a range of outcomes from 5 to over 8 days for approval. Many participants encourage patience, reassure each other that approvals can come at different times, and suggest checking email statuses, especially junk folders. Recommendations include contacting local Thai embassies for assistance and emphasizing the importance of having documents prepared in the correct formats to avoid delays. Overall, the community offers support and shared experiences to ease the anxiety of waiting for the Thailand Pass.
I applied and got pass on same day and not traveling until December. Think whole system may be a bit hit and miss. But biggest catch seems to be format of documents.
at my embassy it says to send in application at least 7 days before travel. You have only waited 4 days. And have over 2 more weeks before your travel. I would not worry 😊
Start worrying if it goes beyond 7 days .There are phone numbers in Thailand you can contact and there also was an email address you can contact quoting you application reference number and should also have your passport number at hand when contacting them .
if your status is not given as under consideration or review then you have not registered correctly especially if when you submitted you did not instantly get a reference number also you have not been successful. Most of the attachments required have to be in jpeg format and not PDF .
u have no worries. Believe it or not the Thailand pass system has worked fine. Unfortunately the restrictions will not attract the tourists Pattaya needs. Sometimes u just have to learn to live with something and that's what they will have to do with covid.
