I'm going to Kuala Lumpur to get my first Non- B visa in a few weeks. I've been told that I need to leave the country, send a photo of my exit stamp to the business accountant who will then take 3 days to process paperwork. Only then can I go to the Thai Consulate to apply for the visa. Is this correct? Is there a faster, more efficient way to do it? 6 days in KL seems a long time!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for obtaining a Non-B visa typically requires you to exit Thailand and acquire an exit stamp. You'll need to send this stamp to your business accountant, who will then take about three days to process the necessary paperwork (WP3) before you can apply at the Thai Consulate in Kuala Lumpur. This procedure is standard, though some variations may depend on local labour department requirements. While six days may seem lengthy, there currently are no clearly stated faster methods for completing this process.
Totally normal. That's how some companies do it. I don't know about the 3 days but I know you need to be out of the country, AND I know that without that receipt you're not gonna get a 90 day Non-B from the thai consulate in Kuala Lumpur
this is normal (in my experience) , you have to be out of the country so they can apply for the WP3 from the labour deaprtment, only with this document will you get the non-b visa
