Retirement visa

Hey all, I am a little foggy on the documents I would need in regards to proof of where I live when I apply for the retirement visa extension?

From my earlier post, the wife and I are in the process of buying a condo, and will live in it, but there is a good chance the name transfer will not all be completed by the time I need to apply for the retirement extension.

Any thoughts on my options? THX

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a retirement visa extension in Thailand, you need to provide proof of residence. If your condo's name transfer isn't complete by the time you apply, check with your current landlord or hotel about the TM30 form. They should have filed this form with immigration, and you can request a screenshot of the filing or a paper receipt as proof.

You are referring to a TM30. Your current landlord or hotel should have filed one for you (although many don’t). Check with them and ask for a screenshot of their filing one or the paper receipt if they did it at immigration.

if the current landlord or hotel seems unable, or reluctant to file a TM30 is it advisable to download the notification, fill it with as much info as you have available and take it unsigned but initialed, to the local immigration office where you have already made contact with copies of any current revised immigration stamps ..purpose not being to get landlord "in trouble" (as you would have already provided them of changes)..but , rather keep your relationship with Immigration authorities current and forthcoming ??

Check with the condo management office. They may have the ability to file one for you online.
