What documents do I need to renew my retirement visa in Thailand?

good morning. I have a retirement visa. It expires around June 18.

I would like to renew it. What documents do I need (and I remember that the Immigration wants two sets)

* photocopies of justification of address (rent contract...)

* print of the Google map of my address

* bank book: photocopies of operations over one year? Then statement by the bank of what is on my account at a near date)

* and what else?

Thanks a lot for your reply. And best regards

TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew your retirement visa in Thailand, you typically need to prepare several documents: 1) Photocopies of justification of address (like a rent contract); 2) A printed map of your address (though some offices may request a hand-drawn map instead); 3) A bank book showing photocopies of transactions over the past year, along with a recent statement from your bank; 4) Copies of your blue book signed by your landlord, along with a copy of their ID, signed as well; 5) Four recent photographs (two taken indoors and two outdoors). Additionally, it is advisable to check with your local immigration office as requirements may differ by location.

The office I go to for my extension--not Hua Hin, wouldn't accept a Google map of my address, they wanted a hand drawn map, which it states on that document Tod Daniels posted.

@Graham *****
I see. I mean, the renewal of a retirement visa. Is this what you call "extension"?

@Yogayantra *************
it is not a visa and not a renewal of anything. Every year you apply for a new extension of stay by meeting the requirements of the immigration office that serves the area you live in

There are OVER 80 immigration offices in thailand so where you're applying at matters A LOT.

How about saying where you are in thailand?

This is a general list (it is NOT office specific) and the stuff your office wants might or might not be included on this list.

Honestly, the best and safest way is for you to slog on over to your local immigration office well before you're going to apply for the extension and get the hand out from that office so you know what you need
