Hi! Iโ€™m going to Kuala Lumpur to apply a new tourist visa. Iโ€™m staying in an apartment here in Thailand. I read that I have to take copies from my lease agreement but do I also need to have invitation letter from the owner of the apartment? Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a tourist visa in Kuala Lumpur, it's necessary to provide a copy of your accommodation reservation or confirmation. If you are staying with a friend or relative, you must present their invitation letter along with a copy of their identity card or passport. However, for official accommodation like an apartment, it generally suffices to provide a copy of the lease agreement.

It is: A copy of reservation/confirmation of accommodation for the whole stay in Thailand

If staying with a friend/relative, please submit his/her invitation letter and a copy of his/her identity

card/passport.
