Hi everyone, I am a French citizen applying for a 60 days tourist visa (extension of 30 days possible in Thailand). To submit my application, I have to fill in this form. I don't know what to write in these following blanks:

-duration of proposed stay

-proposed address in Thailand

-name and address of local guarantor

-name and address of guarantor in Thailand

Could someone please help me understanding them?

Many thanks in advance to all of you! :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a French citizen, seeks help filling out a tourist visa application for Thailand. Key areas of confusion include the duration of stay, proposed address, and names/addresses of guarantors. Comments provide guidance: for duration, they recommend stating '60 days'; for the address, using a hotel name and address; for local and Thai guarantors, they suggest using friends or family in France and noting that sometimes these details can be left blank or marked as 'None.' Overall, the community emphasizes that having hotel information and an appropriate duration planned is essential for the application process.

Guarantor is optional and generally not even asked for a tourist visa

Use a site like booking or similar to 'reserve' a hotel without a deposit that can be cancelled anytime. Once you have the visa you can change where you will stay. On arrival you'll only need a hotel name and town for the immigration landing form but even that doesn't mean you actually have to stay there. All hotels 'should' report who is staying with them with 24 hours of arrival.

You don't need a Thai contact. We left the line blank.

1. How many days will your first stay under the visa required last? If you are not sure, write an approximate count of days. 2. If not yet decided, write it, although it is better to have a hotel in mind to reserve, and write its address. 3. Your employer or source of revenue that guarantees you will have enough money during your say. 4. Someone like No. 3 inside Thailand. You can simply write "None" if there is no such a person or entity. Good luck! Give my best wishes to beautiful Bangkok!

4. Name and adress of person you want to visit

Proposed stay: the exact period you will stay (you need ticket in/out and hotel reservation)

- proposed address : hotel name and address where you booked your stay

- local guarantor: friend, family in France that can "vouch" for you

- guarantor in Thailand : blank

1. Duration = 60 days

2. Name adress street and city where you want to live

3. Name on a person from your country
