HI. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I tried 90-day check-in online for the first time, and immediately got an e-mail saying: โWe have received your information successfullyโ along with completed form for alien to report staying beyond 90 days. (O retirement.) So my question is: Is this process is now instant? (In the past Iโve seen people in this group saying they are waiting for approval.) Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for online 90-day check-in has seen improvements, with many users reporting faster confirmations than in the past. While an immediate email acknowledgement suggests that your application has been received, it does not indicate approval. Typically, approval is received within a few days, with some users experiencing confirmation just one day after submission. The system operates under specific timelines: you can submit your report online from two weeks before until one week before the due date, whereas in-person submissions have a broader timeline that includes one week after the due date.

This means it was not approved and they'll usually have a reason in the email as to why
The "window of opportunity" to file a 90 day report online is from 2 weeks BEFORE the due date down until 1 week BEFORE the due date <- meaning you have a 1 week window online
In person the "window of opportunity" is from 2 weeks BEFORE the due date until 1 week AFTER the due date <- meaning you have a 3 week window to apply in person
so i have a different problem , i submitted mine and it got rejected because it said it was first time , and i had to go in person. The issue is , its not the first time , its my second time. I went in person 90 days ago , now they are saying its still my first time , anybody run across this issue before?
If I go in person (as I had to do a year ago when I got a new passport) it takes me around 15 minutes. Online it has never been more than 48 hours in the last 5 years. maybe you should move to Samut Prakan....๐
No need to get upset, I am just pointing out that people have different experiences with immigration, particularly in different provinces. So, your usually after 4 days comment, should have the caveat that it is only in your experience and in your immigration office.
yes first step is they have received your information and second step is they approve or reject it, if rejected you will have to go in person to immigration office near you. Normally they want the first time is in person, but TIT and you never know.
