Can I do my first 90-day check-in online in Thailand?

I am coming up to my first 90 day check-in. I remember seeing on this group that you can do the check-in online?

What's the process for this? If possible I'd rather not have to go sit at immigration for 2 hours :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The first 90-day check-in after entering Thailand must be done in person at the immigration office. Although there may be online options for later check-ins, for the initial one, you need to physically visit the office within 15 days before to 7 days after your due date. Ensure your landlord has filed a TM30, and remember to bring your passport.

You can’t. The first time after each entry must be done in person. That could be possible when extending your DTV in Thailand, but I doubt you’ll do so.
