What should I do if my Non-B visa and work permit are expiring and my company is delaying necessary documents?

I hope someone can kindly give me advice on the best and most convenient option for my situation.

I currently have a Non-B visa and a valid work permit for 1 year, but my visa expires today. Unfortunately, my company is still having some issues completing/fixing some required documents, so I may not be able to proceed with the normal 1-year extension inside Thailand.

May I ask what would be the best option in this case?

Should I apply outside Thailand, for example in Laos or Kuala Lumpur? Which place is usually more convenient or smoother for applying for a Non-B visa if I already have a work permit?

If anyone had the same experience or knows the best process, requirements, timeline, or possible risks, I would really appreciate your advice.
