Is it possible to apply for DTV in the airport in Bangkok on the way *out* of the country to the embassy you are applying to? E.g. going from Bangkok to London and applying as soon I have my stamp out of Bangkok?

The reason I’m asking is I am returning to UK for limited time and my flight takes up the whole day and I land in non working hours

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers on whether it is feasible to apply for a DTV (Digital Tourist Visa) at the Bangkok airport while leaving for the UK. One commenter suggests that travelers can prepare their eVisa application in advance, uploading documents and information beforehand, and submitting it immediately after clearing Thai immigration. Another mentions that the speed of processing for UK visas can vary, with one user reporting a five-day approval period. There is also some clarification regarding not needing an arrival stamp for processing the application, which adds to the possibility of applying right after departure.

London seem to be pretty quick. I got mine in 5 days, it was approved on a Sunday around 11pm so it would seem there’s some automation on their end.

What's "limited time"? As most online applications outside of SE Asia can take up to one month.

If you dont need to show an arrival stamp as proof of location then dont see why not

you can log in to the eVisa online system, you can upload all your documents, passport, fill in all the data, leave it in your profile (I think you can store up to 10 applications) and then as soon as you're stamped out of thailand you can log in and submit the application, pay and see what happens
