TLDR : Answer Summary
Dimitris, who holds a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen, inquired about traveling to the Satun border in Malaysia and the implications for his stay in Thailand. Community responses clarified that he can re-enter Thailand multiple times until the expiration date of his visa, typically receiving another 90-day stamp upon reentry. While no documents are usually required, some users mentioned the possibility of being asked to show proof of funds, specifically 20,000 THB in cash, depending on the immigration officer's discretion.

Sorry about my Greek but I use them because I don't know good English.

In the start I told that I don't know about the this visa because he married and I speak just for the tourist multiple visa.

I try to tell most that can use it for 8-9 months if you go out the last day of the basic period of the 6 month visa.

Now in English I will say more that as a marry gay with a Thai lady he can have 1 year visa and no need be 50 year old....

Of course with the other paper and evidence they need.

Thanks everybody and sorry about my Greek before...

Yes my friend I am here in Thailand and I speak for Tourist multiple entry visa

Σε ευχαριστώ πατρίδα αλλά μέχρι στιγμής όταν βγαίνω έξω και ξαναμπαινω παίρνω κατευθείαν 90 μέρες και δεν χρειάζεται να πάω στο immigration,,,εσύ μιλάς για tourist visa,είσαι εδώ; Ταϊλάνδη;

I am on same visa, but last Satun trip I was rejected to Malaysia by an Immigration guy who told me I cannot go out and back in the same day... and on my second try was asked to show 20,000 thb cash... it all depends of the guy you fall on....

Thanks a lot for your informations Didier,I appreciate.

You can do this as many times as you like till the enter before/valid until date stamped on the Visa. You don't need any documents, but the Immigration officer can ask for for proof of fund of 20.000 Thb Cash.

When you go to the border, you can stamp out of thailand, stamp in&out of Malaysia and then stamp right back into thailand if you want to. There is no rule that you must be out of thailand any amount of time.

When you stamp back into thailand you will get another 90 day stamp.

@Dave *********
that is partially incorrect :/ Anyone entering the country can be asked to show proof of funds and the amount for holding a Non-Immigrant Type visa is 20K baht. People at the southern land borders are asked to show it on occasion.

Also if you are asked for proof of funds when entering the country you cannot show a credit card, a bank balance or anything else it has to be in cash..

Proof of funds is not usually needed at the border for a non-O. Even at that, having a valid credit card in your wallet takes care of that issue.

Thanks, I will do

@Dch ****
nope, but depending on the border you might (as in a slight chance) be asked to show 20K baht in cash when you stamp into thailand
