Hello!me again..

one year Multiple entry non o visa based on marriage, and ive done my first visa run few days ago.

Now I have to leave the country for 2weeks.

How many entries do I have within this year?

I knew is only 4, this would mean Im going to waste 90 days almost.

I hope I am wrong and that i can get out and in as many times as I want and that i will always get 90 days within the year of my visa.

Thank you in advance guys, have a good day!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A holder of a multiple entry Non-O visa based on marriage can exit and re-enter Thailand as many times as desired within the year of their visa, provided they adhere to the requirement of reporting every 90 days if their visa stipulates so. There is no limit of 3 or 4 exits; they can make frequent trips without wasting visa days.

I thought if you showed 400k and all the paperwork you got your extension and did not have to leave the country just report every 90 days.

If you got your extension based on marriage outside of Thailand not showing the 400k then you had to leave the country every 90 days.

Correct or not ?

Pretty clear the poster is asking about his 1- year multiple entry non immigrant visa, not an extension, simple answer is the amount of entries is unlimited but the maximum single stay is 90 days

@To**
, you can ONLY get extensions of stays inside thailand ;) Outside the country you BUY visas.

If your getting the extension in Thailand

Every time you go for the extension on marriage you have to show 400k in a Thai bank account in your name.

What I'm confused about from

comments is when you do an extension of stay based on his type of visa, does one have to keep showing their financials, or is that just a one time thing when obtaining the visa..?

And you can go 14 days early or 7 days late giving you a 21 day window to report ?

@Tony ********
right extensions of stays from the immigration office means you do 90 day reporting.

Thats what i mean a extension based on marriage showing the 400k etc from thailand.

Then you report to immigration in Thailand every 90 day's

If you have the Extension of Stay based on Marriage and stay longer than 90 days inside the Kingdom you make the 90 days report, can be done by visiting local Immigration, by mail or (if it works) by internet.

@Tony ********
no, you don't leave the country every 90 days IF you are on an extension of stay from the immigration office .

You leave the country every 90 days if you are on a VISA from the thai consulate.

NO

You get an Extension of Stay based on Marriage at local Immigration, one o the requirements is the 400K or 40k Monthly income, one of the regulations is that you than have to report if you stay more than 90 days inside the Kingdom. Outside Thailand at a Consulate or Embassy you can only apply for a Non Immigrant O visa based on marriage which gives you 90 days admitted to stay.

You cannot get an extension of anything outside of thailand.

You get extensions of stays INSIDE the country at the immigration office.

You get is a visa OUTSIDE of thailand at the thai consulates.

A Visa and an extension are totally different.

With a MultiEntry Visa One can Exit and Reenter every week if you want to... No Reentry Permit needed. Multi Entry means Multiple - not 3 or 4
