How do you do the TM30 if you stay with a friend (who's renting the condo long term)? Would have to extend a 60 day tourist visa and get additional 30 days. Extension in Bangkok.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To submit a TM30 while staying with a friend in their rented condo, you will need to coordinate with your friend's landlord, property owner, or the office managing the property, as they are responsible for filing the TM30. If your friend received assistance from their landlord previously, you should do the same. Alternatively, staying in a hotel for one night can simplify the process as hotels typically handle the TM30 for their guests. Additionally, if you're looking to extend your 60-day tourist visa, you can apply for a 30-day extension in Bangkok.

Your friends Landlord/property owner should be filing the TM30

Or stay in a hotel for 1 night - they will do the tm30 for you

The same person which did it for your friend can do it for you (owner/office of owner/agent), get in contact with them. It was no problem at my place. They also gave me screenshot for immigration office

the tm 30 can be submitted by the ‘Occupier’ of the house. I rent a villa and I just did one online for my daughter…no problems

Correction…it should read possessor of the house not occupier

I did it on line. I went to immigration at Samui with the form and they wouldn’t accept it. They said to do it on line. The TM 30 clearly mentions the occupier.

depends on which office. In some the “occupier” would still need to provide the owners ID and housebook and if the owner isn’t present at immigration a power of attorney form with tax stamps.

does this site charge

Not for up to 5 applications. I believe their business model is based on hotels and the like to use them for a fee.

I’ve seen a number of posts from people who have used it successfully.

I haven’t as I have a account on the official site.
