I'm Australian on 2 month tourist visa.

If I stay at a girlfriends rented Bangkok condo, should she as tenant or the landlord (or agent) file a TM 30 form. Condo in Ratchada area.

And what information must we supply?

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian tourist staying on a 2-month visa at a girlfriend's rented condo in Bangkok needs to clarify responsibility for filing the TM30 form. Generally, it is the landlord or the tenant (girlfriend) who should file the TM30. However, for a tourist extension, it's highly unlikely that the TM30 will be requested. If it is needed, it can be filed at the immigration office on Chaengwattana Road at the same time as applying for the extension.

highly unlikely you'll be asked to provide a TM30 when you go to get your 30 day extension (if indeed you even go to apply for that)

The good news is; IF you're here on a 60 day tourist visa and you do want to get a 30 day extension, take her with you with her lease, and IF they need you to have a TM30 (which I would say is really unlikely) you can file it right at the same office where you get the 30 day extension out at the main immigration office in the government complex (Building B) on Chaengwattana Road.

soyou think in Bangkok immigration probably don't care about TM30 but if they do at say extension I'll pay a fine probably. Is such a fine a terrible blot on my long term status.

the fail to file a TM30 on time fine is 800baht (half the 1600baht real fine) and it's not written in your passport just on the TM30 receipt.

It does not affect you in any way
