Do I need to file a TM30 for my stay at a friend's house in Thailand if my address has not changed?

First, I apologize for yet another TM30 question but I have read for hours and still didn't find the answer.

So, on arrival (30 day stamp) I filled in the TM6 with the address I am staying at. Do I ONLY need to do the TM30 if I change my address/travel elsewhere. Obviously, I reported where I am staying on the TM6. I am staying at the house of my Thai friend in Prachuap, not a hotel.

I will be needing to extend for another 30 days.

Thank you in advance for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form is required to be submitted by the property owner (in this case, your Thai friend) within 24 hours of your arrival. You, as the foreigner living there, share responsibility to ensure that this report is completed. If you do not change addresses after your initial TM6 submission, you do not need to submit a new TM30. However, extending your stay may still require adherence to other immigration rules.

Walk at the airport with your eyes closed please, otherwise you would notice the big sign about it.

My friend is the owner. ๐Ÿ˜Š I know TIT but wouldn't it be a good idea for immigration to give a small leaflet about the TM30 when arriving at the airport? At least people would know about it. lol

If it is a private house without rent that makes him the owner? Or is he one of the lucky people who just get a house for free to live. But even then, there will be an owner somewhere.

The land or house owner, the house master or landlord reports within 24 hours that a foreigner arrived at the address. Yes, you are also responsible that this gets done, so talk to the person to who you pay rent of to who your friend pays the rent
