How Can I Extend My Non O Visa Based on Marriage Before the Amnesty Ends?

Hi all, I'd appreciate some advice please.

I have a Non O multiple entry Visa based on marriage acquired at Savannahket last Christmas.

Since getting the visa I went back to the UK in February and returned in March. I was stamped in until June 8th.

Now I'd like to extend this before the Visa amnesty finishes at the end of July.

Can anyone tell me how to so? Is it simply a matter of going to Changwattana with my marriage certificate?

Many thanks,

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on extending their Non O multiple entry visa based on marriage before the visa amnesty ends in July. They inquire if visiting the Changwattana immigration office with their marriage certificate is sufficient for the extension.

You need to go to CW ASAP... and ask them if you can extend your current amnesty status to that of an extension as Marriage to Thai.

IF possible...ask for their current list of requirements.

And you will need to meet the financial requirements of 400,000 Thai baht in a Thai bank in your name or show 40,000 Thai baht monthly deposited for twelve months.

Have you used your allowed 60 family visit extension this year?

so you would have been in amnesty anyway and you could have extended your stay for 60 days at the end of July in case the don't extend the amnesty, which I presume they will with all border closed and no commercial flights on sight...

if it's a one year multiple entry then it's OK to extend. I am in the amnesty and got a 60 day extension last week.

if you'll look in the group you'll find the answer that you seek, for what regards the documents:

You wife will need to be with you when you apply.

Normal is marriage certificate and a copy of it, copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card.

A completed TM7 form with a 4 X 6 photo attached. Copies of passport photo page, visa, entry stamp and TM6 departure card.

Proof that you are living in Thailand will be required.

Thanks James, I haven't used a 60 day family visit extension. My Thai bank account is fairly new so I'm not able to meet those financial requirements yet.
