Good evening. My goal is to get a visa extension based on marriage to a Thai citizen. This is the first time applying. Iโll be first getting a non immigration O from a 30 day visa exempt.
I believe I have all the required documents and photos etc. As Iโve read a lot of really helpful posts on here ๐
Can somebody please help me to confirm where I should now take this application and documents? We live in Bangkok.
Thank you so much for your help ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeking to extend their visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen in Bangkok asks for guidance on where to submit their application after obtaining a Non-Immigrant O visa from a 30-day visa exempt status. The community responses suggest applying at the Chaengwattana Government Complex, emphasizing the need for at least 15 days remaining on the current visa stamp before applying. They also mention the associated fees and necessary documentation for both the initial application and subsequent yearly extension.
you say this in your post; ๐โ๐น๐น ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ด๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ ๐ป๐ผ๐ป ๐ถ๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ข ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐ฎ ๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฝ๐ <- that means in Bangkok as Ellie said you need a minimum of 15 days left on your current stamp's validity. (the application goes under review for 2 weeks before you go back to get the Non-O visa and a new 90 day stamp inked in)
ALSO
you apply for the initial 90 day Non-O visa 2000baht in Section C-1 and go back there after 2 weeks to get the visa/new stamp inked in.
You apply for the YEARLY extension for 1900baht in Section L-1 once your new 90 day stamp runs down (and you need ALL new documentation to do that?
So when you go back to get the new Non-O visa and 90 day stamp inked in stop over in section L-1 and get the hand out listing the requirements for the yearly extension that way you know what you need when you go back in a couple months

In Bangkok, you will go to counter C, Chaengwattana Government Complex Building B.
Be sure you have more than 15 days with your current stamp on the day you apply for an in-country Non-O visa.
FYI, the Bangkok Immigration office site has this, but no guarantee it is the latest.
Can someone explain difference in Kor Roh 2 and 3 and is the single certification required?
Bob ********
so if I am married 42 years i still need Kor Roh 2 plus the certificate saying i was single when i got married? this needs to be done at the office where we registered? what is needed to get the singe confirmation?
okay, you're confusing your 'affirmation of freedom to marry" document you got from your embassy with the papers you got when you registered the marriage at the loca Amphur
The Kor Ror 3 is the rose bordered (suitable for framing) marriage certificate
The Kor Ror 2 looks like a form all in thai and MOST offices are now requiring you get a new one every year (they cost 20 baht to print off at ANY Amphur)
Here's what they look like, the Left side Kor Ror 2, right side Kor Ror 3
