TLDR : Answer Summary
No, immigration authorities do not ask to see a TM30 document when you are departing Thailand by airplane. The TM30 is related to your accommodation information while in Thailand, mainly used for extending visas or other bureaucratic processes, but it is not required for departure.

A TM30 is a document providing information on where you are staying whilst in Thailand and is sometimes required for doing things such as extending your visa, possibly applying for a Thai driver's license also (not sure) etc.. but it is not something you'd need if you are departing Thailand. Safe Travels ✌️
My gf will arrive (from Philippines) and stay with me for 3 weeks in my rented condo....I have a tm 30. I know she needs one but who will know as she won't be renewing her visa exempt.
you better quit moaning around, and please tell me : WHERE did you reply to the threadstarter's question? I cannot find anything. Were you not suposed to teach everybody here, how a valid reply must look like, sound right, isn't rude, and is polite? My own reply would consist of only one word, and that's a "No" . . now pray tell me, have I been rude?
those "coulds" and "woulds" from you, do not constitute a definite answer 🤡 Brandon's answer contains the message the OP needs to know. Now quit your moaning
the Moderator provided no information and only asked a QUESTION (i.e. "Why...") and did not ANSWER the question (Yes, No).
My reply to the Moderator letting them know a proper actual ANSWER along the lines of 'When leaving the country where you WERE staying isn't important, just that you didn't overstay your visa' actually would have answered the OP's question more so than what they had offered - a question answering a question.
the only correct answer was: "why would you need to report your accomodation in Thailand, when you are passing through the automated exit gates at Suvarnabhumi airport?" Those automats won't ask any question at all. And now you better get lost, you piece of 💩
and not everyone knows about the automated exit gates at the airport. I have been here for only two months and exited via a border crossing into Cambodia. No automated exit gates here. Maybe they are only at airports, like the OP implied (to use your word). And probably didn't know about the automated exit gates.
it was YOU who insulted the moderator first. So if ya wanna go looking for a low form of intelligence, start to look in your own cabinets and check a mirror 😂
wow get some help man. I said his response was poor, because I think it was for a moderator. He can obviously ignore the feedback if he wants. I said nothing about him as a person. What’s wrong with you?
I totally agree. If as a moderator someone can't be respectful to the people that come here asking for help, then maybe they should be rethinking why they are here.
then you're part of the problem. If you consider any of these questions inane then you don't belong here. You don't belong here trying to help people. And that's the entire purpose of this forum, to help people who come here asking questions on things they don't know.
often the minorities are right 😊Being among the majority doesn't guarantee that what they think is the ultimate truth. Have you counted the responses? Such a small number says nothing. 4-1 l think it is
someone is asking a question because he honestly doesn't know and that's the best you can do? As a moderator? It literally is a legitimate question for someone who does not know. Do better. BE BETTER.
the entire purpose of this forum is to help people. Help answer their questions. You simply could have said something like 'When leaving the country where you WERE staying isn't important, just that you didn't overstay your visa' or something at that point. Your response just came off as brazen and rude.
