TLDR : Answer Summary
The message states that Nakhon Si Thammarat immigration does not require a TM30 for holidays within Thailand unless traveling outside the country. However, comments indicate that enforcement may vary by location, with some needing the TM30 upon re-entry from traveling domestically or internationally.

And as enforcement differs at immigration offices, there are options to do this on line, by apps even for Android users and Apple users, I would say wast some time and visit your local Immigration Office. And as usual, have some clothes on beside your swim shorts, be polity and you will get the information you need and avoid loads of issues and hassle if you did not make the report when you apply for other documents. Good luck.

I really wouldn't publish this honestly. It could be different for you than others. In Surin immigration I had loads of issues for not doing my tm30 after coming back from BKK. A good friend of mine goes there every 2 weeks never done tm30 never had an issue.

Anyone know how things are at Chaeng Wattana?

Paul Masa I was told by a friend who went to Chaengwattana immigration and he was told you only need to do a TM30 when you leave the country. This was last week when my friend went to immigration

I've been up there twice recently and there was no mention on either occasion.

(y) we are seeing more and more immigration offices 'back up' on the requirement to file a new TM30 when you travel in country. Most now require you file a TM30 when you come in from out of the country.

Thanx for the update (y)

so they do require it then ;-)

David Mills Yes, in and out of country, But not out of and back into the province. Like always, check with your local immigration office as these things tend to vary
