TM30 question: We own our condo & are responsible for TM30 updates. When a member of the family leaves Thailand for a trip, do we sign them out when they leave? And then back in again when they return? (I'm asking because when we were renting, our landlord would have had no idea that we had left for, say, a week, and then returned, so would not have updated.) Thanks for any advice!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form is only required for reporting arrivals in Thailand, not departures. When a member of the family leaves Thailand for a trip, you do not need to formally sign them out. Instead, you need to file a TM30 update when they return to report their arrival.
