Hi Guys, i have a retirement visa non-o with a multiple entry. I'm renting a house longterm . I went last month for holiday to phillipines and today i came back to Thailand. Do i have to go to immigration now to make a report that i am back. Or do nothing. And what about my Landlord. Does he have to file a report as well. Not sure what to do. Thanks for your help in advance
Answer summary
After returning to Thailand on a retirement NON-O visa, you do not need to report to immigration if you are returning to the same address where your landlord had previously filed a TM30 upon your arrival. Your 90-day reporting period resets upon your return, and your TM30 remains valid for your address. However, if your landlord filed a TM30, they need to ensure it is up to date, particularly if you have traveled recently. Confusion may arise at certain immigration offices regarding TM30 requirements, so it is best to confirm local rules if there are uncertainties.

Your 90 day report will reset the day you return to Thailand. If you leave and then return directly to your registered address then you do not need another TM30. Your re-entry permit means your permission of stay is the same, so the TM30 is still valid. Unfortunately, some offices do not understand this rule and tell you to complete another TM30, so only your local office can answer definitely.

You TDAC back into Thailand, produce your visa at immigration and that's it.

Assuming your landlord submitted your TM30 when you moved in, you have TM30.

New TM30, submitted by a hotel you stay with when travelling around Thai will overwrite it and you need a new TM30.

Going to the Philipines or anywhere out of Thai and returning to the same address, will do nothing to your existing TM30, it remains up to date.

You have to do nothing.

Jim Davis thanks. Yes, this is exactly my situation. I am returning to the same address in Thailand, because i am renting a house long term. And my landlord did a TM30 when i was moving into the house. I was confused, as you can read here, so many people saying i have to do a tm30 again(on the same address).

โธมัส เมห์ลฮอร์น My neighbor in Bangkok even laminated his TM30 from 2017. and is using the same form since then, every year upon 1 year extension. He went to US 5 times since then, returned to the same Thai address. Bangkok, Samut Prakan Immigration office.

You don't need to do anything. Your 90 days is reset from your arrival date from P.I.
