Do I need to complete my 90-day reporting and TM30 after returning to Thailand on a NON-O visa?

Good morning

Iโ€™m in Thailand on a non immigrant O which has just been extended for another year. Iโ€™m going to England from September 12th to October 13th.

My 90 day reporting is due on October 12th. Do I still do this or does the Tm8 re entry automatically kickstart another 90 days?

Also, does another TM30 have to be completed on my return if Iโ€™m coming back to the same address.

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
You do not need to complete your 90-day reporting while you're away in England, as you're leaving a month before it's due, which means your next report will be based on the date you re-enter Thailand. Your TM8 re-entry permit allows you to exit and return without cancelling your visa extension but does not affect the 90-day reporting requirement. As for the TM30, whether you need to file it again depends on the policy of your local immigration office; some may require another filing even if you're returning to the same address.

Make sure you bought a re-entry permit

You only do a 90 day report if you've been in the country the 90 days before your report is due. You are leaving a month before the due date so you don't report

The TM8 re-entry permit doesn't do anything regarding a 90 day report, that re-entry permit lets you exit/re-enter without cancelling your extension.

Your NEXT 90 day report is due 89 days from the date you stamp back in to thailand. So if you say you're comin' back on the 13th of Oct, your next 90 day report would be due Jan 10th

That is between you and the policy your immigration office has about TM30's.

Some offices say if you're coming back to your primary address (the one you use when you got your extension and file 90 day reports) that you don't need to re-file. BUT some say you do, so check with your office when you come back just in case you need to re-file a TM30
