TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, if you have a Non-O retirement visa with multiple entries, you do not need to notify immigration when leaving Thailand, provided you have the appropriate visa type. However, upon returning, it's advisable to check with your local immigration office regarding the requirement for filing a TM30 address registration, which is increasingly mandated even if you are returning to your registered address. Additionally, remember to file a 90-day report with the immigration office every three months while in Thailand.

Do you have a Non O multi-entry Visa as a retiree obtained from your home country outside of Thailand?

As long as you have a multiple Entry visa or a re-entry permit, you can leave Thailand as you wish.

On Return to Thailand, ask your Thai Immigration office for their requirement for the filing of the TM30 address registration .

Many offices now require you to file a TM30 when you Return to Thailand, even if it's at your registered address on file.

Of course, you are required to file the 90 day report to your local Thai Immigration office each 90 days which you are in Thailand.
