Do I need TM.30 proof for a re-entry permit in Hua Hin?

Hello dear community,

Romanian passport here.

Going to visit Hua Hin next week, and enter Thailand first time with a new unused SETV. I will need to leave the country in 15 days (on 26th of December 2019) after first entry and want to come back to Thailand in 2 weeks time.

For that I would like to get a re-entry permit.

And I would like to do that from a local immigration office (for peace of mind). I was originally planning to get the re-entry permit from Chian Mai immigration, but It seems Hua Hin is more lax in term of people visiting and needed services?

One thing I am not sure of: Does the *Hua Hin* immigration office *require TM.30 proof for re-entry permits*? I read that Chiang Mai does.

I can follow these guidelines [[[members only])] for the paperwork regarding re-entry permit + TM.30 proof if needed?

Could not find any other latest information on this group regarding Hua Hin immigration and re-entry permits + TM.30 proof

Could not find Hua Hin immigration office on internet 🤷‍♂️

It may be this one [[members only]), but I'm not sure

They do seem to have a new office more inland where I should go for the re-entry permit.

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user with a Romanian passport seeks advice on obtaining a re-entry permit from the Hua Hin immigration office. They inquire about the necessity of TM.30 proof when applying for the permit, especially since they will be visiting Thailand for the first time on a SETV and leaving within 15 days. Community members suggest going to the Hua Hin immigration office directly for clarification, with some indicating that TM.30 proof may not be required for re-entry permits for tourists.

I do not think that either location at Hua Hin, (the main office OR the one in BluPort Mall) require a TM30 for a 3re-entry permit on a tourist visa, AND even if they did, you would be covered by the guest house where you're staying. Ask them to print you a copy of the screen grab from the online program they register you with

When you own properties all over Thailand I still do not see the problem of report your arrival within 24 hours. You can do this in person, on-line or use the app for the mobile phone. If you stay in a hotel or guest house, they will do this report and you just ask a copy of the print screen as proof. Examples of proof:

The only way you will find out is to go to the Hua Hin Immigration Office. From your post I assume that you do not have a TM 30 on file with Hua Hin Immigration. You might be lucky and no fine. Good luck😉

Thank you.

Not yet in Thailand :) Flying in on Wednesday, straight to Hua Hin. I have booked a room at a guesthouse; they should make me a TM.30 form. Either way, I will request a copy of it to be on the safe side.

I will report my finding here, later.
