What are the requirements for my first 90-day reporting and re-entry permit in Thailand?

A few different - hopefully easily answered - questions by this lovely group.

1. What do I need to bring with me for my (first) 90 day reporting? Passport only?

2. Whilst at immigration, I intend to obtain a re-entry permit for an upcoming overseas trip. What do I need to bring with me for this, and how near to the trip can I obtain this permit?

3. When I return to the country, I understand the 90 days is recalculated so I don't need to do anything, but do I need to report myself to immigration in CXM for the TM30 or is it enough for my condo to register a new one on their end?

Thanks for the help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks about the documentation required for their first 90-day reporting, the process and requirements for obtaining a re-entry permit, and whether they need to report TM30 upon returning to Thailand. Responses suggest that some immigration offices may only require a passport for the 90-day reporting and that a re-entry permit can be acquired at immigration offices or the airport with specific requirements such as cash and photos. For TM30 reporting, it varies by office; sometimes a landlord can handle it. Overall, users emphasize checking local requirements.

You can get a reentry at the airport immigration. They have an office.

1. Depending on your immigration office. Some only require you to have your passport. Some require you to have TM30 receipt. I think CM requires only a passport. BUT Let's see what others say

2. a general guide for a re-entry permit was upped above. You need a fee in cash and photos. Forms are available at the immigration offices.

3. One of you or your landlord/condo management submitting TM 30 is enough, as long as you get the receipt.

The 90 day report is counted from Day #1 of your arrival into Thailand

Ask your local Thai immigration office what their requirements are for reporting TM30 upon your return to Thailand.

Some Immigration offices don't require you to file a New TM30 if you are returning to the same address already on file with the Thai Immigration office.

Whereas others may require a TM30 be filed on your return to Thailand.

I should have been clearer - CMX does require this, I just wasn't sure if I had to report to immigration in person or if it's okay for my condo to register a new TM30 upon return.

it's the responsibility of the condo owner to file the TM30.

BUT as you are still renting at the same condo address, likely it will be you which needs to report the TM30.

Ask your local Thai immigration office.
