ORIGINAL POSTER
US passport. Non immigrant OA (retire) second year.

If Iโ€™m traveling from CM to Phuket for a month, then going straight to USA (thru BKK), where do I get my reentry? The landlord in Phuket will file a TM 30. Does location matter? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are holding a Non-Immigrant OA visa and are traveling from Chiang Mai to Phuket, you can obtain your re-entry permit either at Phuket Immigration or at the airport (Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang) before your international flight. It is advisable to get the permit in Phuket for peace of mind, especially since your landlord will file a TM 30.

You can get a re-entry permit at both Suvarnabhumi OR Don Mueang if you're flying out internationally,

OR

you can go to any immigration office. They shouldn't give you any issues buying a re-entry permit in Phuket or Chiang Mai.

I would get it at Phuket Immigration....before your flight. Peace of mind knowing you have it ๐Ÿ˜‰
