Going to imigration tomorrow to get my first reentry, as I’m leaving country and, upon return, I don’t want to loose my visa extension - Nov 8, 2022.

Want to make sure I bring everything needed.

Passport, proof of insurance. Any forms?

Payment-money, credit card, scan pay?

I notice my TM 6 only has stamped date I entered.

It doesn’t have extension date - Nov 8, 2022 stamp. Passport has both dates. Is that normal?

Upon return:

would I need to get a new TM 30?

My lease is good till December 22 and landlord did do a TM30.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing for their first re-entry to Thailand and seeks guidance on the necessary documents and procedures. They need to bring their passport, proof of insurance, and payment methods for the re-entry permit. The user is concerned about the TM6 form not displaying an extension date and wonders if it's normal. Additionally, they inquire about whether a new TM30 needs to be submitted upon returning, given that their lease is valid and the landlord has completed the TM30 form.

And on your return you will need to meet entry requirements...such as the Thailand Pass is required now.

WATCH FOR ANY CHANGES

No problem with TM6 without a departure date.

Most immigration offices require you to re-submit TM30 when you return from abroad.

Here is general information for a Re-entry permit.

Going to Chaengwattana office in Bangkok now. Any specific building for reentry form?

The cheapest way to reach the new office from most parts of Bangkok is to take the BTS skytrain to Mo Chit station, or the MRT subway to Chatuchak Park station, and then wait for bus #52 at the bus stop in front of the park on the west side of Phahon Yothin Road (exit 2 from the BTS station takes you straight to it). The bus costs eight baht and drops you at the front of government complex. From here, the immigration building is the furthest away of three that all resemble airport terminals.

or you just take the skytrain to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat, go down at exit 1 and take a taxi for less than 60 baht straight to Chaengwattana 🙂

I give Thailand address or USA?

I give original visa entry date or most recent entry date and end date?
Ellie *******
@Paul ******
you can use either address.

Use the latest entry date.

tm 8 form is confusing. Are there instructions?

If I get multiple entry do I need to fill one out each time?

@Paul ******
, it is just an application form for a re-entry permit

You apply for multiple re-entry permit only once. Here is the sample form from Bangkok IO site.

no just leave the travel dates off. They don’t expect you to know for a multiple re-entry.
