Hello everyone, just a short question about buying re-entry permit
I’ve seen in the group answers about getting such re entry permit at Bangkok airport, but can you buy such permit in your local town immigration office as well before the flight?
I’m currently living in Hua Hin
Thanks a lot in advance for your help and best regards

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question is about purchasing a re-entry permit for Thailand, specifically whether it can be done at a local immigration office in Hua Hin before a flight. Comments confirm that re-entry permits can be obtained at the local immigration office, but there may be restrictions based on the type of visa or extension of stay. It's suggested to check with the local office beforehand.

Suvarnabhumi (departure exit 2 post security, before immigration exit) is so easy its not worth a visit to an io unless youre there for another reason ...
No issue at all showing up at the immigration office where you stay and getting a re-entry permit issued.
Keep in mind SOME immigration offices won't sell a re-entry permit if you are on an "extension of stay" that you got from a different office/province..
SO check with your office well before you need the permit to see IF you can get one
