Do I need a Thai Pass and a transit visa for my layover in Bangkok on my way to the UK?
Hi, i have a flight from cambodia to the UK transiting Bkk, only a 4 hour layover however i will need to collect baggage and re-check in- does anyone know if i need a thai pass? And also if i need a transit visa?

I have the same problem. I want to fly from BKK to SIN for a few days then fly back to BKK to catch my flight home to the Uk.
But I will have to do a Thai pass and book a SHA++ hotel. The cheapest package I can find is about £90 for the hotel so not so bad

it advertises the 795 baht. But as soon as you go to pay it’s over 4k. I just can’t see how they can do it that cheap. The transfer alone would cost that before a PCR test and the cost of the hotel room
Good luck if you have gotten it at that price and you get you Thaipass with it

when I just tried to book that hotel once you add all the info. The prices goes up to over 4100baht

I would look at getting another flight maybe via Singapore.

oh 🤦♀️ i have bookwd my flight now which is none-refundable..so i guess my only option is to book a test and go hotel in order to get a thai pass.. Not use it and go straight onto my next flight?Lynnette *******

often 2 airlines work together. No easy transit in BKK, hasn't been for a long time.Tess ***************

unfortunately it's two different airlines :( my flight isn't until mid may, so i am going to hold out changing anything just in case Thailand scrap the test and go (very unlikely but i can hope)Lynnette *******

looks like im going to have to rebook my flight from PP to BKK for a day before and book a test and go hotel only to return to the airport the next day😭 should have done more research 🤦♀️Activity
