Long transit in Bangkok. I will arrive in 2 weeks in Bangkok from Delhi. In Bangkok I have a transfer time of around 20 hours before my flight leaves for Istanbul - Amsterdam. Also I have to pick up my cabin suitcase so I have to go through immigration. What is required? Visa, what kind? Do I have to do the Covid test by arrival? I can't find any info on the internet abt this. Tha

TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler arriving in Bangkok from Delhi with a 20-hour transit must go through immigration to retrieve their cabin suitcase. This requires checking Thailand's entry regulations, including obtaining a Thailand Pass, a verified hotel booking at an SHA Extra+ hotel, and a PCR test upon arrival. Given that they will be entering Thailand to change flights, they cannot just transit without a visa. Suggestions were made to consider other routes to avoid complications.
You are not transiting you are changing flights and as such must go through Immigration and enter Thailand. Thailand Pass and all the requirements that are attached. New plan, because the existing one doesn't work.
You're going to have to meet all requirements to enter Thailand. 1 night hotel booking at an SHA Extra+ hotel that includes PCR test and airport transfer, insurance, Thailand Pass.
Also if that test comes back positive you'll be forced to isolate for 10 days at hotel at your expense.
