Hi there , I’m currently in Bangkok, planning to fly to Cambodia in a few days for around 2 weeks then I need to be back in Suvarnabhumi for a flight out of the country to Brazil. Anyone know how the transit works? I have a 30kg suitcase with me so not sure if I’d need to check out then back in again as I’m getting conflicting advice on google. I’m British by the way. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking information on how transit works at Suvarnabhumi Airport when traveling from Bangkok to Cambodia and back to Brazil. They have conflicting advice regarding baggage check-in. Comments suggest that if the user needs to collect their baggage, they must pass through immigration, which requires appropriate documentation such as a Thaipass and Test and Go certification.
You can buy the right ticket to transit in BKK. Just be certain it's the right ticket. They'll sell you anything on the internet and say "self-transit". You cannot. You need to be given all boarding passes at check in.
