I will be visiting Thailand wjth my partner in February.
I am travelling after my wedding in india (Indian National and Indian passport holder but i live in the UK). I will be visiting Thailand for 10 days, and will apply for the standard Thailand tourist visa.
We will be going to koh samui first and then krabi.
My question is, the fligjt I’m looking to book to Koh Samui has a self transfer at Bangkok airport as my bags won’t be checked through to the Bangkok to koh samui flight. Hence I will need to collect my bags, leave Bangkok airport and re-enter the airport and go through the whole immigration process to board the koh samui fligjt.
My question is, would I need a separate transit visa for this self transfer at Bangkok, or would the tourist visa I’m already getting for this trip allow me to go through immigration again? I was thinking the latter since it’s domestic travel within Thailand, but I’m not sure.
I hope this question makes sense?
Thank you so much in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is traveling to Thailand with a tourist visa and is concerned about needing a separate transit visa for a self-transfer at Bangkok airport between their international flight and a domestic flight to Koh Samui. The consensus among responders is that no transit visa is required, as the user will be entering Thailand on a tourist visa and transitioning to a domestic flight, which does not necessitate going through immigration again.
You are already in thailand so you will just transit from international terminal to domestic terminal which just a short walk between each one you don't have to leave the airport to get there Chokh di enjoy
You won’t need to go through immigration again as it’s a domestic flight to Koh Samui - of course you will need to check in for that flight with I presume is with Bangkok Airways. Enjoy your honeymoon.
You wouldn't be able to use a transit visa since that's only for international to international flight. You'll be entering Thailand with the intent to stay in Thailand, so you would enter on your tourist visa.
