I am traveling from Vietnam to UK in 2 weeks from now, I will be on a connecting flight in Bangkok airport for 10 hours. When reading the entry requirements its not quite clear if I would need to go through the regular procedure for entry (ThailandPass, hotel reservation, insurance,PCR on arrival) or I can skip those because I won’t enter Thailand.
Thank you all🤗

TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler has a 10-hour layover in Bangkok en route from Vietnam to the UK and is unclear about the entry requirements. Comments suggest that if their luggage is checked through to the final destination, they may qualify as a transit passenger and avoid the full entry procedures (e.g., ThailandPass, hotel reservation, insurance, PCR tests). However, if they need to collect their luggage and check in for another flight, they will have to comply with the entry requirements.
Good rule of thumb is, if your luggage is checked through to your destination your a transit, if you need to pick up your luggage in Bangkok and check in to a different flight, then you have jump through the entry hoops.
