I'm travelling to UK via Bangkok, where I must collect baggage and re-check in. After changing my flights from 30th April to 3rd May, I must wait until 12.01am 29th in order to apply for the Thailand Pass without the need to get tested. This leaves just 4 days to receive the Thailand Pass, does anyone know if the processing time will be quicker? Or know if the Pass is given quicker than that already? I have heard already through a helpful person on here that they know of it taking just 1 day.

Also, will I need a transit visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is traveling to the UK via Bangkok and needs to apply for the Thailand Pass. They are concerned about the processing time since they have only four days left to receive it. A commenter mentions that the Thailand Pass usually takes 1-2 days for processing but may experience delays when the system reopens. Additionally, it is clarified that the user does not need a transit visa as they can enter Thailand for up to 30 days without one, but they will need appropriate travel insurance.

They have said it will only take a day or two but they could be very busy when they open the system up again. You should be ok. No visa needed as you can enter Thailand for up to 30 days without one. You will need appropriate insurance to get the Thailand Pass.

I'm very glad to hear that! Yeah I'll be applying the minute it's updated. I got the AXA Thailand insurance to be safe.
